Night Senior Care Lead

Role Overview
This role involves working as a Night Senior Care Assistant, providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The successful candidate will have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, administering medication, and participating in social and recreational activities. You will also play a vital role in maintaining accurate records and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the care home.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administering medication safely and accurately.
- Participating in social and recreational activities to enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the care home.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. Ideally, you will have prior experience working in a care setting and be familiar with person-centered care planning. A background in dementia care would be beneficial but not essential.
