Melanoma Cancer Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Melanoma team as a Cancer Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to our team of nurses and patients accessing our service.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will provide direct information and support via email or telephone, and/or signpost to appropriate services for patients and their families/carers. They will also assist the nursing team to provide services effectively and efficiently, ensuring patients' queries and care can be actioned in a timely manner.

We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff and provide specialist cancer services to around 2 million people across Kent and East Sussex via the Kent Oncology Centre.
Person Specification- GCSE English Language and Mathematics (grade A-C) or equivalent.
- Evidence of continued role development.
- NVQ Level 4 or additional training to diploma level or equivalent on a health-related subject.
