Volunteering OpportunitiesWe offer various volunteering roles, each designed to provide valuable support to families in need:
- Home-Visiting Volunteer
- Visit families in their homes once a week for six months, offering emotional support and guidance.
- Provide one-to-one phone calls to families, offering emotional support and guidance.
- Support parents in our face-to-face and online wellbeing groups, helping them develop coping mechanisms and build friendships.
- Assist our Coordinators and Play Workers at local Family Groups.
- Spend time with families, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Attend regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to working with families.
