Junior Community Worker

North Avenue Youth Centre in Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to help deliver high-quality services to young people.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with young people and be able to commit to regular sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Session Delivery: Assist in delivering weekly activities, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for young people.
- Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to young people, helping them to develop new skills and interests.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with young people, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining youth work experience or sharing their skills with others.
A DBS check and training opportunities will be provided as needed.

- Ongoing Support: Ongoing support from the club leader, including training as needed.

We welcome adults but are happy to discuss the opportunity with under 18s.
Salary:£14-17 per hour (dependent on experience).
