Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Harbor Freight Tools. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a safe and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a great customer experience by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle various sales transactions, including cash, credit, and returns, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Encourage customers to participate in company programs and promotions, driving sales growth and increasing customer loyalty.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Cross-train in all areas of store operations, including stocking, sales associate duties, and responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred: 1 year experience in retail or customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
  • Open availability with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to intermittently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
  • Physically able and willing to become certified to operate a forklift in accordance with IPP.
