Business Development Opportunity in Infectious Diseases
We are seeking a highly skilled Infectious Diseases Business Development Executive to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global healthcare leader, creating breakthrough science to improve people's health.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing markets and customers, achieving sales targets, providing customer service and key account management activities. You will also be required to build strong relationships with all stakeholders in key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the NHS and public health sectors
- Provide customer service and key account management activities
What We Offer:
At Abbott Laboratories, you can expect a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Excellent track record in sales with strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong industry experience in medical devices or a diagnostics background
- Familiarity with diagnostic industry practices preferable
Personal Characteristics:
- Effective communicator, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others
- Self-starter, possesses flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment
