Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

About the Role
We are seeking a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. As a Trainee PWP, you will work with individuals across the adult age range, providing evidence-based psychological therapies for anxiety and depression.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee PWP, you will be responsible for delivering brief structured supported treatments, such as guided self-help, to individuals with mental health problems. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and support to our patients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or equivalent academic ability, and experience of working with people who have experienced mental health problems. You will also need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively in an emotive atmosphere.
Training and Development
As a Trainee PWP, you will receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and knowledge. You will attend university one day a week and work in our service the remaining four days a week. Our training program is fully funded by the NHS, and you will also receive a salary from the London NHS Talking Therapies service where you will undertake your four-day-a-week placement.
