About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. As a Trainee PWP, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies to individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals across the adult age range, providing brief structured supported treatments such as guided self-help.
  • Develop and maintain a caseload, working closely with colleagues to ensure effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
  • Essential:
    • Degree or equivalent academic ability.
    • Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience of paid work in direct care provision.
    • Experience of working or liaising with Primary Care Services.
    • Experience of working in a service where agreed targets are in place, demonstrating clinical outcomes.
