Job Title: Media Operations Coordinator

World Rugby is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Operations Coordinator to support the delivery of the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing all services and facilities for the press, photographers, and non-rights holding broadcasters in the venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Media Operations Manager in venue operational planning
  • Oversee media accreditation and match allocation notifications
  • Respond to operational media enquiries
  • Coordinate operational media briefings
  • Develop rosters for the volunteer team
  • Prepare material for the tournament-time media guide
  • Collate tournament-time reports and statistics

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in the media industry
  • Strong communications skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide a superior level of customer service

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a live event environment
  • Experience with accreditation processes and systems
  • Experience dealing with international clients/stakeholders

Personal Attributes:

  • A passion for sport and contributing to the growth of women's rugby
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
