About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team on Sandringham Ward, an acute assessment ward for older adults with mental health challenges. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing personal care and support to patients, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Conducting physiological observations and reporting any concerns to the nursing team
  • Supporting patients with their physical and emotional needs, promoting independence and dignity
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Care Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A non-judgmental and empathetic approach to patient care
