About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Referrals Officer at Polaris Community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing, processing, and actioning referrals received from Local Authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Referrals Manager and Officers, Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team to carefully match young people with Fostering Families according to their needs.
  • Work effectively within a team and independently to make decisions and use your own initiative to find creative solutions when needed.
  • Develop positive relationships with colleagues and Fostering Families through confident, responsive, and professional communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within children's services or similar, and/or direct sales experience.
  • Ability to evidence organisational and administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes, and ability to work well within a fast-paced environment.
  • Full support and training will be provided.
