Fostering People Referrals Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Referrals Officer to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing referrals from Local Authorities, working collaboratively with our Referrals Manager and Officers, Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team to match young people with Fostering Families according to their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Process and action referrals received from Local Authorities
- Work collaboratively with the Referrals Manager and Officers, Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team to match young people with Fostering Families
- Develop positive relationships with colleagues and Fostering Families through effective communication
- Work effectively within a team and independently to make decisions and find creative solutions when needed
We are looking for an individual with experience of working within children's services or similar, and/or direct sales experience. You should be able to evidence your organisational and administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes, and have the ability to work well within a fast-paced environment. Full support and training will be provided.
