We are seeking a highly skilled Referrals Officer to join our team at Polaris Community. As a Referrals Officer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the referral process, ensuring that young people are matched with suitable foster families. Your primary responsibility will be to process and action referrals received from Local Authorities, working collaboratively with our Referrals Manager and Officers, Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities- Process and action referrals from Local Authorities
- Work collaboratively with the Referrals Manager and Officers to match young people with suitable foster families
- Liaise with Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Develop positive relationships with colleagues and foster families
- Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and processes
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience of working within children's services or a similar field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- Ability to follow regulatory policies and processes
