About the Role

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Health Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential hazards and risks associated with our construction and maintenance projects.
  • Develop and implement effective safety policies and procedures to mitigate these risks.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with safety standards and provide guidance and support to site teams.
  • Collaborate with business units to implement and maintain a positive safety culture.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practice.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably in a safety advisor role.
  • Member of a professional body, progressing to chartered status.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
