About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Needs Assessor to join our team at Capita. As a Needs Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities to identify their support needs and provide recommendations for assistive technology and other aids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured meetings with individuals to identify their support needs and provide recommendations for assistive technology and other aids.
  • Evaluate the suitability of assistive technology and other aids for each individual and provide advice on their use.
  • Produce formal written needs assessment reports in accordance with relevant guidance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Respond to post-assessment queries received from customers or relevant Funding Bodies within the required timeframe.
  • Conduct reviews of customer needs when requested.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, excellent report writing abilities, and extensive knowledge of the DSA funding guidance. You should also have an in-depth understanding and current knowledge of a range of relevant Assistive Technology (software and hardware) and its role in addressing challenges across a broad range of disabilities.
