About the Role

We're seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Disability Support Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals with disabilities and providing support to help them participate in their studies. You'll work closely with students, educators, and other stakeholders to identify suitable study and support strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Holding structured meetings with individuals to identify appropriate study and support strategies
  • Evaluating the suitability of assistive technology and providing advice on its use
  • Preparing and producing study needs assessment reports for students in higher education
  • Delivering high-quality AT training to meet customer needs

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an individual with exemplary communication skills, excellent report writing abilities, and a deep understanding of disability support services. You'll have extensive knowledge of the DSA funding guidance and be able to match the features and benefits of assistive technology to the needs of individuals. Adept at working to strict KPIs, you'll produce work of excellent quality and be a team player who is keen to collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
