Role Overview:


At Guidant Global, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a DSA Assessor Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality DSA needs assessments, ensuring that students with disabilities or other health conditions receive the necessary support to achieve their full potential.



Responsibilities:



  • Conduct structured meetings with students remotely to identify suitable study and support strategies, including non-medical helper and travel support when necessary.
  • Evaluate the suitability of hardware, software, assistive technology, and other aids for each individual, providing expert advice and recommendations.
  • Produce comprehensive written needs assessment reports in an appropriate format, adhering to relevant guidelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Respond to post-assessment queries from customers or funding bodies within the required timeframe.
  • Conduct review of customer needs when requested.


Requirements:



  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably with DSA assessment experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in assistive technology.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload effectively.
  • Proactive approach to continuing professional development.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, punctual, and reliable, with an understanding of confidentiality and privacy.
