Job Summary

We are seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to work onsite within General Practices across the Oxford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and gain new knowledge in a clinical setting.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will support the GP practice with general day-to-day workstreams, including:

  • Undertaking medicine reconciliations of patient records
  • Prescribing in line with practice protocols
  • Updating patient records, supporting medicine reviews, and synchronization for groups of patients in care homes
  • Helping patients get the best from their medicines by switching medications to agreed and approved protocols
  • Carrying out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts
  • Supporting with medication reviews

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have 6 months of experience working in a General Practice as a registered Pharmacy Technician. You must have a relevant degree/qualification and be registered as a technician. You will be a highly focused and motivated individual ready to work within a professional team representing our company.

You must live locally to the Oxford area and be willing to travel to the practice allocated to you. Benefits for employees include GPhC fees paid, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company sick pay, and an employee assistance program.
