About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our dispensary, stores, and ward-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the dispensing and checking of medications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Support the training and induction of new members of the team, including pharmacy apprentices and trainee technicians.
  • Monitor workload and track stock levels to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering queries from patients and staff.
  • Support ward-based tasks, including assessing patient medications and reconciling medication lists.
Requirements
  • Qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the GPhC holding an NVQ Level 3 or other relevant qualification.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience is desirable.
