About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our dispensary and clinical services, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the smooth running of the dispensary, providing coordinator support to the dispensary team.
  • Support the training and induction of new members of the team, pharmacy apprentices, trainee technicians, and pharmacists.
  • Contribute to labelling, dispensing, and checking duties, monitoring workload, and tracking stock levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, answering phone queries and covering staff and out-patient reception.
  • Support ward-based tasks, including assessing patients' own drugs, medicines reconciliation, and one-stop ordering.
  • Assist with stores responsibilities, including supporting ward and fluid top-up services, receipting deliveries, and stock management processes.

Person Specification
  • Qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the GPhC holding an NVQ Level 3 or other relevant qualification.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience.
