Job Title:

Supervisor (FIRAS) - Passive Fire Protection

Location: Watford / North London

Salary: Competitive + Package

Our client is a leading passive fire protection specialist, established in 1989, providing a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country.

With offices nationwide, this is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking, modern construction business that genuinely cares about its people.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience working on Fire Door projects, with a proven track record of successful people management and service delivery.

  1. Achieve all pre-agreed KPI targets via the effective supervision of operatives.
  2. Monitor, organise, and direct operatives and subcontractors to ensure all agreed productivity levels are met.
  3. Ensure all operatives work in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  4. Carry out pre and post inspections as required to raise accurate works.
  5. Check quality of works carried out.
  6. Address poor performance promptly.
  7. Report any accidents to Health and Safety Manager immediately.
  8. Carry out appropriate regular communication meetings with operatives and subcontractors, such as performance meetings, toolbox talks, and one-to-ones.
Supervisor - Experience:
  1. CSCS Card
  2. SSSTS
  3. Asbestos Awareness
  4. FIRAS / FDIS / NVQ Qualification
  5. Proven track record in leading and delivering Fire Door projects
  6. IT Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages
  7. Ability to understand client/contract requirements to maximise productivity and measure improvement
  8. Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  9. Good understanding of H&S legislation
  10. Experience of managing and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling
