Collections Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from customers and resolving accounts through effective communication and negotiation skills.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and emotional intelligence to work with customers who have fallen into debt. You will be working closely with your team to investigate accounts and decide on the best solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing support and guidance to help them get back on track financially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive inbound calls from customers regarding accounts which have fallen into our debt process.
  • Conduct outbound calls to resolve accounts and provide repayment options to customers in arrears.
  • Work with others in your team to investigate accounts and decide on the best solutions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and emotional intelligence to work with customers who have fallen into debt.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
