About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team as a part-time tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with their learning and achieve academic success.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, requiring patience, creativity and a willingness to think outside the box. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with families to understand individual needs and develop personalized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to students with challenging behaviour, focusing on building relationships and trust.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans, taking into account each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Work closely with families to monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Requirements
  1. Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Possess UK classroom teaching experience, with a focus on SEN and challenging behaviour.
  3. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25 per hour, paid on a part-time basis (up to 25 hours per week). We also offer a range of benefits, including:
