Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage the Health Protection team’s email inbox, responding to enquiries or escalating to senior team as required.
  • Infection Control Guidance: Provide advice to residential care settings on the relevant infection Prevention guidance to support in the management of outbreaks of infectious disease (flu, covid, gastroenteritis and scabies).
  • Audit and Quality Assurance: Visit residential settings to carry out IPC audits using a national audit tool (and following training and support). Write up and appropriately present the findings of the audit to the care provider and essential stakeholders.
  • General Support: Support the Health Protection Manager with administrative tasks, etc.
