Job Description:

The successful candidate will be accountable for the management and delivery of security services, ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and company regulations. The role requires excellent customer relationships, commercial, supplier management, and people management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels.

This critical customer-facing role involves leading, managing, and motivating a team of up to 6 security officers, including supervisory staff, while maintaining exceptional standards of safety and security.

The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, with expertise in security operations, risk management, and emergency response. They will produce, implement, and manage operational procedures, ensuring adherence to contract and regulatory standards, as well as health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage security operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead and motivate a team of security officers, providing coaching and development opportunities
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee incident and accident management, reporting, budgeting, and staff rota management
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering strategy and managing facilities teams
  • Expert knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response
  • Able to evidence best practice, implement change, and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills, with a motivational approach and ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
  • Demonstrate at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the FM sector
