Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, identifying faults, diagnosing, and repairing breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.
  2. Identify faults, diagnose, and repair breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.
  3. Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize production output.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure that all equipment is safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards.
  5. Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure that all equipment is serviced and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  2. Ability to diagnose and repair faults and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  3. Minimum NVQ Level 3 electrical or Mechanical or equivalent.
