Maintenance Engineer Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Coventry area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing plant-wide maintenance services, departmental support, and repairs to ensure production targets are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of factory manufacturing machinery.
  2. Monitor and supply engineering support for machine set-up and changeovers to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  3. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
  4. Develop and maintain a high degree of health and safety awareness.
Requirements:
  1. Recognised engineering apprenticeship and qualification or equivalent.
  2. High degree of health and safety awareness.
  3. Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
  4. Maintenance engineer experience or qualifications.
What We Offer:
  1. Competitive salary of £48,500.
  2. Annual pay increases.
  3. 33 days holiday (pro rata).
  4. Overtime paid at 1.5 and 2x.
  5. Annual KPI production bonus of 10%.
  6. Company pension of 8% matched.
