Law Firm Operations Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Practice Manager to join our dynamic team in Bedfordshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our finance department and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will handle a diverse workload, including day-to-day and annual responsibility for the firm's accounts, as well as organizing insurance, accreditations, and practising certificate renewals. They will also attend Board meetings and negotiate with third-party suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the finance department and reception staff
- Provide advice on regulatory compliance, including SRA, AML, and SARs
- Organize the firm's insurance, accreditations, and practising certificate renewals
- Negotiate with third-party suppliers
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a commanding knowledge of the Solicitor Accounts Rules and an overview of the general obligations of the SRA Handbook. The ideal candidate will also have experience with COFA and COLP duties and responsibilities, GAAP, and accrual accounting.
A strong understanding of IT systems and case management software is essential, particularly P4W. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also required.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including training and development opportunities.
