Role Description:

As an Accounts Teacher at Prospero Teaching, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students up to KS5. You will support the national Timetable with Zoom Teaching across other campuses and provide professional leadership and ownership of the Accounts curriculum area at a regional level.

Responsibilities:

">
  • You must have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for A level Accounts, including exam specifications.
  • You should possess Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or similar Accounts qualification.
  • You will need to have recent experience teaching Accounts to students up to KS5.
  • You must be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
  • Type of work: KS5 Accounts Teacher
  • Duration/Likely Duration: Permanent
  • Full time/part time: Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay: £43,057 - £69,422 per annum (MPR + SEN point)
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year Accounts teaching experience in the UK
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
