Job Title: EMEA Customs Manager

Anord Mardix, a leading provider of critical power solutions, is seeking a highly skilled EMEA Customs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our global procurement and supply chain team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a customs compliance program that ensures seamless international business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure customs regulations compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of regional and global customs/trade initiatives, including global classification policy, trade audits, and risk management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activity of Anord Mardix personnel assigned to import/export activities.
  • Ensure proper import/export documentation and procedures are maintained in accordance with customs standards and requirements.
  • Recommend corrective action to ensure all import/export transactions adhere to customs compliance.
  • Advise internal departments on customs requirements and inform of any issues affecting their operations.
  • Continuously update processes in line with changing legislation.
  • Conduct internal audits and report findings.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of international trade, compliance, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of export and import controls.
  • Extensive knowledge of tariffs, incoterms, deferment, and VAT postponed accounting.
  • Experience in customs compliance, HMRC audits, tax, or duty applications is desirable.
  • Previous exposure to business policy development and process governance within an international business is desirable.
