About the Opportunity:

As a Multilingual Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language support services to healthcare professionals and patients.

About the Role:

Job Overview:

The Interpretation and Translation Service provides quality confidential interpreting service for the Northern Care Alliance Foundation NHS Trust, covering all four hospital sites and various community settings.

Main Duties:
  1. To provide language support services on a sessional basis as required according to specified times
  2. To work closely with healthcare professionals and patients to achieve objectives and purpose of your role

Your Key Requirements:

  • Community Interpreting level 2 plus or equivalent qualification
  • DPSI Qualification or equivalent
  • Proven interpreting experience preferably in health
