Job Summary

The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Contract Management function. As Head of Contract Management, you will play a critical role in driving our commercial strategy and ensuring the effective management of our contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead key contract negotiations with suppliers, securing value for money and managing risk appropriately.
  • Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Oversee the management of commercial data, including the implementation of governance structures and reporting on contract management performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive successful commercial outcomes.
  • Lead a team of commercial specialists to deliver against business plan objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and leadership teams to drive operational excellence with our supplier base.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 16 years old.
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) or working towards this.
  • Commercial and Contract Manager Advanced Practitioner/Expert or working towards this.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and influencing to build consensus.
  • Experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements to drive successful commercial outcomes.
