Visual Merchandising Specialist

The Creative Artworker will be part of the Graphics team within the Property Store Development Team at JD Group. The team's primary focus is to design and develop creative and on-brand environmental graphics, wayfinding signage, and permanent VM display solutions for new and existing retail stores.
Key Responsibilities- Design and create innovative and inspiring environmental graphics and signage solutions for UK and international store projects.
- Deliver design updates for signage and graphics within the existing store portfolio.
- Produce on-brand presentations and communication collateral.
- Creation of print-ready/manufacturing artwork.
- Liaise with key project stakeholders from internal departments (retail, marketing, multichannel, merchandising, etc.).
- Image manipulation and retouching.
- Offer assistance and support to all team members.
- Practical experience within Graphic/Industrial Design or signage sectors.
- Past experience of working within a Retail environment or has understanding of Retail process, or may have knowledge and experience of working with a retailer client within a manufacturing capacity.
- Some proven experience at various stages of the design process, from concept to implementation.
- Experience of having worked on multiple design projects at any one time.
- Ability to generate 3D renders using Sketch Up and V-Ray plug-in.
- Ability to create digital content using After Effects or equivalent.
- Experience of working within the signage industry.
Degree in Graphic Design/Industrial Design or other relevant qualification.
