Transport Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our Transport Planning Group, you will play a vital role in shaping the future development of Warwickshire's transport infrastructure.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering transport schemes to meet the objectives of the County Council's Local Transport Plan. You will work closely with our team to evaluate and interpret transport data and modelling outputs, and develop detailed understanding of transport problems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and interpret transport data and modelling outputs
  • Develop detailed understanding of transport problems and solutions
  • Use advanced Excel skills to analyse and manipulate complex data
  • Collaborate with the Transport Planning Group to deliver transport schemes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be motivated, creative, and have good organisational skills. Previous experience in transport planning and transport modelling is desirable, but not essential as on-the-job training will be given.

Fluency Duty

You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
