Kitchen Management Opportunity
Northampton High School is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to manage our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily meal preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Main Objectives:
  • Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality meals for students and staff
  • Liaise with senior management to align kitchen operations with school goals
  • Lead and train junior chefs/kitchen assistants to improve productivity
  • Manage kitchen supplies, inventory, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Implement and maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Participate in out-of-hours events and functions

Candidates must have prior experience in a school or commercial kitchen.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications are beneficial.
