Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Level 3

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant Level 3 in our Autism Spectrum Disorder Learning Support Centre.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with our team of 6 staff members, supported by the Deputy Headteacher and ALNCo, to provide support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our Learning Support Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Assist pupils with their learning needs and barriers to learning
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans for pupils
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

A passion for supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum DisorderAn awareness of pupils with additional learning needs and the barriers to learning they experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamWhat We Offer:
