About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Employment Recovery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals with mental health challenges to achieve their employment goals. You will provide guidance, support, and resources to help them navigate the job market, develop essential skills, and secure meaningful employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist unemployed individuals in gaining employment by providing personalized career counseling and guidance.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify and secure suitable work opportunities for our clients.
  • Conduct vocational assessments to determine training and employment needs.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring sessions to enhance employability skills.
  • Utilize a range of self-management and recovery tools and techniques to support individuals in their journey towards employment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Proven experience in assisting unemployed individuals to gain employment.
  • Experience working directly with employers to identify and secure work opportunities.
  • Experience performing vocational assessments to determine training and employment needs.
  • Experience in training, teaching, coaching, or mentoring others.
  • Familiarity with a range of self-management or recovery tools and techniques.
