Revenue Services Officer

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Services Officer to join our team in the Revenue Services Department. As a key member of our Income Collection & Enforcement Team, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with debtors to recover council tax arrears. This will include the recovery of council tax on closed accounts where the debtor has left the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recover council tax arrears through proactive engagement with debtors
  • Work with the Income Collection & Enforcement Team to identify and pursue debtors who have left the borough
  • Provide excellent customer service to debtors and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in a revenues environment
  • Sound knowledge of local government income sources
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
