Job Title: Revenue Services Collection Officer

Salary Range: £32,955 - £42,525 per annum

Location: Wandsworth Town Hall

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Rent Collection Service team at Richmond and Wandsworth Council's Shared Staffing Arrangement. As a Revenue Services Collection Officer, you will play a central role in achieving positive outcomes for our tenants by providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely rent payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage debt recovery procedures in a Social Housing environment, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide effective communication with tenants, addressing their concerns and providing support to resolve rent arrears and other debt issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in debt recovery procedures and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery.

  • A thorough understanding of debt recovery procedures and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
