Inventory Management Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing Ltd. This is a varied role that requires someone who has good computer skills and experience of equipment/machinery components, ideally in a manufacturing environment or similar.
Key Responsibilities- Taking responsibility for the stores and stock for the factory
- Effectively managing the designated stores in terms of stock levels and housekeeping
- Collaborating with Production and Engineering Managers to plan and purchase all stores stock and equipment required
This includes planning shutdowns, maintenance, refurbishment work or project work. You will also be responsible for communicating with suppliers, placing orders, and managing inventory. Additionally, you will control spending to agreed budgetary levels using various IT systems to plan work and orders.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Stores Environment, preferably within an Engineering or Manufacturing company. They will be able to use a suite of Microsoft applications and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is approximately £33,000-£37,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits including 25 days holiday, life assurance, pension, and share scheme opportunities.
