Factory Inventory Specialist

The Stores Controller role involves managing stock and stores of machinery components in a busy factory environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Take responsibility for the management of designated stores in terms of stock levels and housekeeping
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering Managers to plan and purchase stores stock and equipment
- Communicate with suppliers, place orders, and manage inventory using IT systems
- Report on engineering spend to the Engineering Manager
- Experience in stores/stock control, specifically with electrical/mechanical components
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and enjoy variety in work
£33,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus, benefits (25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, life assurance, 8.5% pension, share scheme opportunities)
