Learning Disabilities Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse to provide specialist care for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality patient care while promoting wellbeing and recovery in a mixed-shift environment, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Conduct thorough physical and psychological assessments of new patients and create tailored care plans to ensure efficient staffing rotas.
- Safely administer and accurately record medication as per patient care requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
- Monitor and support care staff performance, ensuring that key responsibilities are met.
Requirements
- A Registered Nurse Qualification (RNLD) and a valid UK NMC Pin.
- A clear DBS check.
- Experience in developing care plans, conducting assessments, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
