About the OrganizationLearning Curve Group is a leading provider of vocational training and education, with 34 military academies across England and Wales. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our learners, employers, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for learners within our centres, focusing on vocational qualifications, employability skills, and military training.
- Mentor and inspire learners to achieve their full potential, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industrial knowledge by attending relevant training events annually, ensuring that your skills and expertise remain current.
- Ensure resources reflect the diversity of learners' experiences and provide a comprehensive understanding of people and communities.
- Support the development of Maths/English skills among all learners, helping them to build a strong foundation for future success.
- Track work experience via the FCA in England to ensure learners are making the most of program opportunities, and update the MIS with learner details and track performance, attendance, and progressions.
- Deliver physical training using the bib system during all sessions, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among our learners.
- Conduct Military Training Days following the military skills portfolios scheme of work, providing learners with hands-on experience and practical skills.
- Listen to learner and parent feedback to improve teaching and learning, ensuring that our services meet the needs of our customers.
- Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company, creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
- Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent, and Health and Safety policies and be vigilant to potential concerns and risks, maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within a uniformed service (e.g., army, navy, air force, fire, or police services).
- Military or civilian Physical Training qualification, demonstrating your expertise in this area.
- GCSE Maths & English qualification, showcasing your academic achievements.
- Knowledge of vocational qualifications or the education sector, highlighting your understanding of these areas.
- Teaching qualification or experience teaching/instructing, demonstrating your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Experience working with young people, showing your passion for supporting and guiding the next generation.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
