About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Manager to join our team at ALS Training in Ocean Park House. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training programs that cater to the diverse needs of learners.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone eager to grow within the company, with a strong focus on professional development. You will have the chance to work closely with learners, line managers, and employers, and contribute to shaping the future of adult education in Wales.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of learners
  • Ensure compliance with the standards of awarding organisations, Welsh Government guidelines, the Estyn Common Inspection Framework, and ALS requirements
  • Work collaboratively with learners, line managers, and employers to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a HR role
  • Membership with CIPD (minimum Associate level)
  • CIPD qualification (minimum level 5)
  • A valid UK Driving licence with access to a vehicle
  • Applicants must have the Right to work in the UK
  • Good standard of education: GCSE (or equivalent) English & Math
