Job Summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Engineering Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where they will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and excellence.

The role involves working with a range of medical equipment and providing technical support to staff across the trust. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a real-world environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To acquire clinical and technical knowledge in the field of Clinical Engineering through on-the-job training and education.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • To provide technical support to staff across the trust, including responding to queries and resolving issues related to medical equipment.
  • To work within guidelines and policies laid down by OUH NHS Trust.
  • To undertake any relevant training to provide additional technical and administrative support to the Clinical Engineering Group when required.
