School Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Support Worker to join our team at Pontybrenin Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our pupils.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with additional learning needs, including those with ASD, in a variety of settings and activities
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies
- Assist with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records and reports as required
- Engage with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to promote open communication and partnership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with relevant experience working with children with special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- DBS clearance, with willingness to undergo regular checks
Salary Estimate: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
