As an Assistant Manager for Schools, you will be part of this vision, working closely with the management team to ensure excellent outcomes for our learners.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic individual to become part of the Schools Management leadership team (Fixed Term 1 year) and NEET Management team (Until December ). The successful candidate will have experience in a leadership or co-ordination role and be passionate about teaching and learning, curriculum innovation, and ensuring learners reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage curriculum, quality, budgeting, staff deployment, performance management, and learner management to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Support the Managers in ensuring excellent teaching, learning, and outcomes within the respective areas.
  • Embed a consistent approach to learner management to support the Manager's goals.
  • Represent the College in various stakeholder groups and networks to promote our vision and values.
Requirements
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Degree or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Knowledge of current issues facing FE Colleges including curriculum developments with a strong appreciation of schools curriculum and the NEET agenda.
  • Knowledge of developing curriculum to enhance progression and employability prospects.
  • Experience of leading projects or teams.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive 37 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period. Additionally, you will have access to a Teacher's Pension Scheme with an average employer contribution of 23% and discounted Sport Centre gym membership for £60 per year.
