At Cartrefi Cymru Co, we are seeking an experienced Adults Support Service Lead to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with expertise and skills to help meet future business challenges. As Adults Support Service Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe service, supporting the Service Manager in compliance with legislation and Cartrefi's policies, and providing leadership and management to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the Service Manager to ensure a safe service.
  • Support the Service Manager to ensure compliance with legislation and Cartrefi's policies.
  • Provide leadership and management to the team, monitoring performance and engaging in supervisions and team meetings.
  • Develop and promote person-centered, outcomes-focused support to service users.
  • Manage the service in the absence of the Service Manager and report to the Area Manager where appropriate.
  • Undertake support duties in line with the needs of the people we support.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
  • QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Passion for supporting people to live an enriched life and fulfill their potential.
  • A good understanding of health and safety legislation and management in a social care setting.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required.
  • A full clean driving license and willingness to travel.
