Job Description

We are pleased to announce our job role for a Functional Assessor, working with Reactive Recruitment.

About the Role

As a Medical Assessment Specialist, you will manage caseloads from end to end, including face-to-face and virtual assessments. You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years experience as a Nurse, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to work in a caring and professional manner, making equitable decisions based on complex medical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough assessments with patients, using your clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Work with detailed medical information to make informed decisions.
  • Write comprehensive reports and share feedback with stakeholders.
Benefits

This part-time role offers a basic salary starting at £23,100-£32,000, with an opportunity to earn a 10% quality bonus (£35,420 OTE*). You will also receive training, which will last around 14-17 weeks (part-time hours may vary), and enjoy a hybrid work environment.

In addition, you will have access to our Cycle2Work Scheme, employee network groups, annual charity day, and 10% bonus structure.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,300-£40,400. The basic salary starts at £23,100-£32,000, and with the opportunity to earn a 10% quality bonus, the total earnings potential is £35,420.*
