Cover Supervisor Role


4myschools is seeking a qualified Secondary School Cover Supervisor to provide general cover in various schools in the Chelmsford area. The successful candidate will supervise pupils undertaking pre-prepared exercises during teaching staff absences.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are absent.
  • Work on a daily supply basis, with the option to work from 1 to 5 days per week.
  • Support pupils in a range of school sizes, from small to larger-than-average schools.


Requirements:

  • Hold experience working with children as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar capacity.
  • Be available for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc supply days.
  • Confidently cover secondary school key stages in a supervisory capacity.
  • Interested in volunteering as a Cover Supervisor to gain experience.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS.
